General
What are the check-in and check-out times? What is your late check-out policy?
General check-in starts at 3 P.M. and regular check-out time is at 11A.M. Late check-out requests are subject to availability. See more details here.
What’s your security deposit policy?
Guests will be required to leave a NT$1,000 (per day) deposit, either in cash or credit cards, upon check-in, which is to cover potential incidental charges (telephone calls, in-room movies, etc.). Any remaining unused balance will be refunded to the guest upon checkout.
Do you provide Wi-Fi service? What are the rates?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is included with your reservation and accessible in guest rooms and all public space. Wired networks are also accessible with an Ethernet cable found in the desk drawer in all rooms.
Do you have a business centre?
No, but there is a spacious desk in each room and plenty of seating in THE Lounge where basic administrative assistance is available on the second floor.
Is there space to temporarily store luggage before check-in or after check-out?
The complimentary service is available only for guests currently staying with the Hotel before check-in or after check-out.
Do you offer currency exchange service?
Yes, it is available for the following currencies: U.S. dollars, Euros, Hong Kong dollars, Japanese Yen and Renminbi.
Do you allow smoking on property?
No, we are completely non-smoking throughout the entire hotel, including all of our rooms and public spaces. A minimum NT$10,000 fee will be charged if smoke is detected in guest rooms.
Is the hotel pet-friendly?
Animals are not allowed on the premises other than service animals.
Can I remove any items from the room as souvenir?
Other than slippers and toiletries, fees will be charged for missing items.
What is the company behind HOTEL COZZI? How long have you been open?
HOTEL COZZI is owned and managed by Cathay Hospitality Management, Inc, a hospitality division under Taiwan’s largest private company LinYuan Group. Zhongxiao Taipei opened for business in October 2013.
Are travel adapters available?
Travel adapters are not available for loan. However every room is equipped with universal USB outlet wall electrical sockets.
Are guests under 18 years old allowed to check in?
To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly inform you that if all guests in the party are under 18 years old, we are unable to accommodate them. The cancellation policy will be applied in accordance with the standard contract terms.
Reservations
What is your cancellation or no show policy?
In compliance with Taiwanese regulations, guests can cancel without penalty anytime before 4 P.M. prior to the day of arrival. For no shows, one-night stay, plus applicable taxes and fees, will be charged to your credit card.
Please note that this does not apply to all room packages. For promotional packages, please refer to booking details for specific cancellation and no show policies.
How can I see or modify my reservations?
After a successful reservation with us, either via our brand website(s) or our Central Reservation Call Centre, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided within 30 minutes of booking. All your reservation details will be in the confirmation email. You may also review or modify your reservation on our website using your email address and reservation confirmation number. For any other inquiries, we are just an email or a phone call away.
How can I change/modify a reservation made through a third party website?
Please contact them directly as we cannot modify any reservations made through a third party.
What payment methods are accepted by the Hotel?
Cash in new Taiwanese dollar, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB card and CUP card are all welcome.
Dining
Do you have any restaurants or bars?
No, however we serve a selection of beer and wine at THE Lounge.
What time do you serve breakfast until? What is the cost for anyone who is not staying at the hotel?
Join us between 6:30 and 10:00 A.M. for buffet breakfast at THE Lounge on the second floor. At the moment, the buffet breakfast is only available for our in-house guests.
Do you have room service?
No.
Where is Fu Hang Soy Milk and what are the hours?
Located on the second floor of Huashan Market, Fu Hang Soy Milk is across the street from the hotel. They are open 5:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. daily and close on Mondays.
Amenities
Are the rooms equipped with safes?
Yes, each room has an electronic safe wide enough to store most 15” laptops.
Which rooms come equipped with a bathtub?
Other than Comfort Room, the other room types all come with a bathtub.
Do you have a pool or a fitness center?
No. However there is a fitness center available for in-house guests at Minsheng Taipei.
Do your rooms have rollaway or cribs?
For most room types, rollaways and cribs are available upon request at the time of booking with an additional NT$1,200 per night. A complimentary breakfast will be included. Inquire for details here as some room types cannot accommodate.
Do any rooms sleep four?
No.
Do you provide any special amenities for infants or toddlers?
Cribs, infant tubs, bottle sterilizers, toddler bed rails, dehumidifiers and much more are available upon request. For more details, take a look at our Cozzi Kidz program.
Do any rooms have roll-in showers?
Yes, with limited availability, please inquire.
Do you offer dry cleaning?
Yes, laundry received before noon will be returned by 7 P.M. the same day, otherwise by noon the next day. A 4-hour expedited laundry service is also available with an additional 50% cost.
Do you have onsite parking and what are the costs?
Yes, an indoor automatic parking garage is available and free for in-house guests. The entrance is located in Shaoxing North Street, west side of the hotel. Click here for more information.
How can I plan a special event?
At Zhongxiao Taipei, we have two venues available for meetings or events: THE Lounge and our Multi-purpose Meeting Room.
Transportation
How long does it take to get to the Hotel from nearby airports and Taipei Main Station?
If traffic is light, you can expect the following travel times by car:
- Taoyuan International Airport (TPE): 40 ~60 minutes
- Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA): 15 minutes
- Taipei Main Station: 5~8 minutes
Where can I find the closest airport shuttle bus?
Airport shuttle bus 1960 on Zhenjiang Street is approximately seven minutes away from the hotel. You will find the bus stop in front of Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel. It will take approximately 60 minutes to get to Taoyuan International Airport. The one-way fare costs NT$145.
Where is the closest bus stop and MRT station?
160-meters away from Zhongxiao Taipei, the eastbound Huashan Creative park stop at 166 Section 1, Zhongxiao East Road is the closest bus stop. For the closest MRT station, entrance to MRT Shandao Temple’s Exit 6 is across the street from the hotel. For guests with heavy luggages, take the elevator at Exit 3 and the hotel is just a 4-minute walk away.
Where are the closest night markets?
Ningxia Night Market is 10~15 minutes away from the hotel by taxi or 10~15-minute walk away at MRT Shuanglian Station on the red line.
Any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby?
There is a 24-h convenience store right next to the hotel, as well as one across from the street. A Pxmart supermarket is 2-minute walk away across from the street. They are open from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.

Do you provide any sightseeing tours?
We partner with different agencies to provide a wide array of options. Fees vary, please inquire.
Could you assist with shipping or receiving parcels?
Absolutely! Guests must agree to pay all applicable shipping fees.
Do you allow event decorations if the room is intended for a wedding?
Yes, as long as there is no damage done to the property.
Can you hold events in the lobby (e.g. a wedding ceremony)?
For the comfort of all our guests, no events are allowed in common areas.
